Throughout our 60 years we have earned the trust of the main collections of the world. Through our hands we have had universal art and iconic moments such as moving “el temple de Debod”, the arrival of the Guernica, the transport of the Thyssen-Bornemisza collection or the custody of the treasure of the frigate “Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes”.
SIT is Spain’s leader company of the cultural goods market and is part of the international top five. We differentiate us by the use of the current preventive conservation criteria, by our modern vehicle fleet and by our agile custom and airport services.
At SIT we are experts in designing and manufacturing packages that are adapted to the needs of each art piece. Due to our experience and a constant investigation, we have developed new conservation and transport packages: ECOSIT, SPS, SCS, ETTRAMED and SUPRAC.
SIT has an international award-winning team in I+D area that develops and applies the highest technology in preventive conservation area. We carry out works such as: anoxia disinfection, 3D scanner, development of microclimate frames, selling conservation materials, and installation and follow-up of temperature, humidity and air quality monitors.
